‘Hey Bully’ Video Debut by Morgan Frazier

Morgan Frazier partnered with anti-bullying organization Stand for the Silent to release the song, which she wrote with Sherrie Austin and Tiffany Goss. They were inspired to write the song after a discussion about bus monitor Karen Klein, whose bullying incident on a school bus was viewed all over the world. The topic hits close to home for Frazier, who was bullied so badly herself that she finally withdrew from school completely.

The song’s message couldn’t be more timely. According to Stand for the Silent, 160,000 children stay home from school every day because of bullying issues, and 25% of high school students in America make a plan to end their life before graduation. Kirk and Laura Smalley started Stand for the Silent after their 11-year-old son, Ty, committed suicide in 2010 because he was being bullied at school.

“I’ve already been touched by the power of this song from messages I’ve received from kids who have experienced bullying firsthand,” Frazier says. “I look forward to working with Stand for the Silent to bring an end to this issue.”
